I have a feeling that we read tons of shit written in "foreign" languages without realising it, such is the way of a true car geek. We buy car magazines in languages we don't really understand, but we pick up on things. and that does somehow give us a better understanding of non native languages.

haha I know all about that. I used to get the factory VW mag in german and read the crap out of it even though I could barely understand a word. Now I can, kinda

I had classes in German when I was 14-17 or something.. so I can read German. Dutch however, learned from magazines and such.

But...that defeats the entire purpose of an S-Class. When you're shuffling between your estate in Farfield to your summer home in Saratoga, the last damn thing you want is a manual. And have you tried getting cocaine out of cloth seats? It's impossible!

Edit: Oh, it's Yarop

haha I have forgotten about that tidbit. White leather all the things! (I had it in my Vanden Plas and it blended right in if a little got knocked off the pic-a-nic trays)

That's really the only practical use for those damned things anyway.
